DEXIM has a fleet of four trawlers equipped with state-of-the-art technology that carry out daily fishing operations of hake (Merluccius gayi) a few hours from the port of Paita; which allows processing of a high-quality product. The other species: giant squid (Dosidicus gigas), loligo squid (Loligo vulgaris), scallops (Pectidinae), anchovy (Engraulis ringen), prawns (Dendrobranchiata), etc. are acquired from the artisanal fleet that operates in the area, which meets all the quality requirements demanded by the company.
Processing tasks in the modern industrial plant located in the Industrial Zone II of Paita meet the requirements of the BRC and BASC accreditations. Also, throughout the process, HACCP standards are applied. This way, the products offered by DEXIM represent a guarantee of quality and safety. The freezing capacity of the DEXIM industrial plant is 80 MT/day. It has cold storage chambers at -25°C (- 13°F) for 700 MT of finished product and it is equipped with a modern design that distributes the processing of our products in three stages.
DEXIM has a modern treatment plant for its industrial and domestic effluents for the care and well-being of the environment. The company is currently initiating an ambitious project to evacuate its – previously treated- effluents using an underwater emitter located almost two thousand meters from the coast, in front of its industrial plant.

Our Social Management
DEXIM has been carrying out important social work in the port of Paita for over 15 years, providing two thousand daily breakfasts to low-income children between 3 and 6 years. To these children, the company also delivers school supplies in March as well as toys in the days previous to Christmas. Similarly, DEXIM has built four primary schools in different human settlements in Paita.
